It is any information by which a person can be identified.

Who will process your personal data?

Within the framework of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", the Manager is Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" itself, which independently determines the purpose and means of personal data processing.
Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" is responsible for the processing of personal data at the group level and determines the purpose and means of processing personal data based on the legal basis and purposes set forth in this policy, such as branding, marketing, finance, personnel, etc. for administrative and business management purposes; for ensuring the management of relations between merchandise, services, customers, suppliers and cooperation partners; as well as for the purpose of business analysis and development. What does the Privacy Policy cover?

The privacy policy applies to:

  • For visitors of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" office and managed parking lots, including their video surveillance;
  • for customers;
  • to other recipients of services (potential, former and existing), as well as to third parties who, in connection with the provision of services, receive or transfer personal data of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" (including contact persons, engaged specialists, payers, etc.);
  • Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" website visitors;
  • to other persons who provide personal data to Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", i.e. see employees and job candidates within the framework of personnel selection.

The privacy policy applies to data processing regardless of the form or environment in which a person provides personal data (on the Internet website, in paper format or electronically) and in which company systems or forms it is processed.


This Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of personal data concerning legal entities and in particular companies that have the status of a legal entity, including the name of the legal entity, form of business and contact information.

What regulations govern the protection of personal data?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" takes care of the privacy of individuals and the protection of personal data, respecting the rights of individuals to the legality of personal data processing. This is provided for by the applicable legal acts - the laws of the Republic of Latvia and their subordinate legislation, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individual with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/ 46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), as well as other applicable legislation.

Why are personal data processed (processing purposes)?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide services: 

- for customer identification;
- for the preparation and conclusion of the contract;
- for ensuring/maintaining the operation of services;
- for the fulfillment of assumed obligations;
- for the improvement of services and the development of new services;
- for advertising and distribution of services or for commercial purposes;
- for customer service;
- for consideration and processing of objections/claims; 

- for raising loyalty, measuring satisfaction;
- for settlement administration;
- for debt collection;
- for website maintenance and performance improvement.

  • For business planning and analytics: 

- for statistics and business analysis;

- for planning and accounting;

- for efficiency measurement;
- for data quality assurance;
- for conducting market and public opinion research;
- for preparing reports;
- for customer surveys;
- for the implementation of risk management activities.

  • For the provision of information to state administrative authorities and subjects of operational activity in the cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory acts. For the protection of the property of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" and the property of third parties under the management of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" or in its territory, and to ensure the safety of persons, preventing possible violations of the law, recording the fact of committing a criminal offense, identifying the possible offender, as well as within the framework of video surveillance. Video surveillance recording data is stored for up to 30 days or until the day when this video recording data is no longer needed to be used as evidence in the event of an accident, violation of parking rules, violation of rights, etc. After the expiration of this due date, Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" ensures complete automatic deletion of data, if the data has not been previously requested or no violations of the rules for the use of parking lots or criminal offenses or other security violations have been detected. If the data has previously been requested from the competent state or local government institutions, or violations of safety or parking regulations have been detected, the data is stored as necessary. 
  • For other specific purposes, about which the customer will be informed at the time he provides Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" with the relevant data.

What is the legal basis for personal data processing?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" processes the data of individuals:

  • to conclude a contract at the customer's request and ensure its execution;
  • in order to fulfill the obligation specified in binding external regulatory acts of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija";
  • to fulfill the wish of the person - the data subject in accordance with his expressed consent, given by the Data Subject to the processing of his personal data, for a specific purpose;
  • to realize the legitimate (lawful) interests of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" arising from the obligations existing between Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" and the data subject or the concluded contract or the law;
  • to protect the vital interests of the data subject or other individual (human life and health in the context of video surveillance).
The legal (legitimate) interests of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" are: 
  • to carry out commercial activities; 
  • verify the identity of the Client before concluding the contract; 
  • ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations; 
  • prevent unreasonable financial risks for your business; 
  • save Customer applications and submissions for the provision of services, other applications and submissions, notes about them, including those made verbally, by calling and by e-mail; 
  • analyze the functioning of the website applications, develop and implement its improvements; 
  • perform actions to retain customers; 
  • design and develop services; 
  • advertise your services; 
  • promotion of brand recognition and creation of a positive corporate image in society; 
  • send other reports on the progress of contract execution and events relevant to contract execution, as well as conduct customer surveys about services and their experience of using them; 
  • prevent fraud; 
  • provide company management, financial and business accounting and analytics; 
  • ensure efficient company management processes; 
  • efficiency of service provision; 
  • ensure and improve the quality of services; 
  • administer payments; 
  • administer outstanding payments; 
  • apply to state administration and operational institutions and to the court for the protection of their legal interests; 
  • inform the public about Cityparks activities; 
  • creating favorable, loyal teams and a positive microclimate in the company.

How is personal data processed and protected?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" processes the Customer's data using the modern technologies. This is done taking into account the existing privacy risks and the reasonably available organizational, financial and technical resources of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", using the following security measures:

  • pseudonymization of data as much as possible;
  • firewall;
  • intrusion protection and detection programs;
  • other protective measures, as far as possible, according to the current possibilities of technical development.

For the purpose of efficient construction, branding, administration of information systems and provision of other services, Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" may authorize its cooperation partners (processors) to perform certain service provision tasks on behalf of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" and transfer personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of these specific tasks. The cooperation partners of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" must ensure the fulfillment of personal data processing and protection requirements in accordance with the requirements of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", using the data transferred to them only for the fulfillment of the obligations of the concluded service contract on behalf of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija".

In what cases are personal data disclosed to third parties?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" does not disclose personal data or any information obtained during the provision of services and during the term of the contract to third parties, except for:

  • if data must be transferred to the relevant third party within the framework of the concluded contract in order to perform some activities necessary for the performance of the contract or delegated by law (for example, to a bank within the framework of settlements);
  • to ensure debt recovery;
  • in accordance with the express and unequivocal consent of the person whose data is transferred;
  • to the institutions provided for in external regulatory enactments, or upon their justified request, in accordance with the procedures and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments;
  • in cases specified in external regulatory acts, as well as for the protection of the legal interests of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", for example, by applying to the court or other state institutions against a person who has violated the legal interests of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija".

In what cases can personal data be transferred to third countries

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" does not transfer personal data to third countries (that is, to countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area), unless it is directly related to the provision of services in a third country. If the provision of the service requires the transfer of personal data to a third country, Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" ensures the receipt of security guarantees stipulated in legal acts and the legal basis for the transfer of the data.

How long is personal data stored

SIA "Cityparks Latvija" stores and processes the data of individual as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:

  • the customer contract or another service provision contract, which is the legal basis for personal data processing, is valid;
  • Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" or the Client can realize their legitimate interests (for example, submit objections or bring a lawsuit in court) in accordance with the procedures specified in external regulatory acts;
  • one of the parties has a legal obligation to store the data;
  • for providing evidence at the request of competent state and local government authorities;
  • the data subject's consent to the relevant personal data processing is valid, if there is no other legal basis for data processing. 

When the above circumstances cease, the data of the person is deleted.

Who has the right to access personal data?

A person has the right to receive the information stipulated in the regulatory enactments in connection with the processing of his data, to make sure of the correctness of his data and to correct them. According to the regulatory enactments, anyone has the right to request Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" access to their personal data, as well as to request their correction, deletion or restriction of processing their data in relation to whether they have the right to object to the processing (including the processing of personal data that performed on the basis of the legal (legitimate) interests of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija"), as well as the right to data transfer. These rights are enforceable to the extent that the data processing does not result from the obligations of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", which are imposed on it by the current regulatory enactments, and which are carried out in the public interest.

A request for exercising your rights can be submitted:

  • in written form in person at the legal address of Ltd "Cityparks Latvija", presenting an identity document;
  • by post or electronic mail (by sending an e-mail to the addressees specified in this document), signing the request with a secure electronic signature.
  • in accordance with the procedures set out in external regulatory acts, realizing one's legitimate interests (for example, submitting objections or bringing or filing a lawsuit in court).

Upon receiving a person's request for access to their data, Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" verifies the identity of the person, evaluates the request and fulfills it in accordance with the regulatory enactments. Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" will send the prepared answer to the person by mail to the contact address indicated by him in a registered letter, taking into account the indicated method of receiving the answer, if possible, or hand it out personally after presentation of a personal identification document. The answer is given by e-mail only if the person has requested it and the identification of the person has been provided in advance, making sure that the person submitting the application is the person for whom the request is made or to whom the request applies. Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" ensures compliance with data processing and protection requirements in accordance with regulatory enactments, and provides information that can be collected by reasonable means. In case of personal objections, Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" takes the necessary steps to resolve the objection. However, if this fails, the person has the right to apply to the supervisory authority - the Data State Inspectorate.

How does a person express their consent to data processing and can this consent be revoked?

The person has the right to withdraw the given consent to data processing at any time in the same way in which it was given. In that case, further data processing based on the previously given consent for the specific purpose will no longer be carried out. Withdrawal of consent does not affect data processing carried out at the time when the consent was valid. Withdrawal of consent cannot stop data processing carried out on the basis of other legal grounds. If, when applying for a job, you want your submitted application with a curriculum vitae (Curriculum Vitae (CV) and/or motivation letter) to be stored, please state when submitting the application: "I agree that my application and curriculum vitae, also motivation letter (if it contains Your personal data), is stored by Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" and can be used in future selection for other vacancies at Ltd "Cityparks Latvija".

How is communication with the client carried out?

Ltd "Cityparks Latvija" communicates with the Client using the contact information provided by the Client (phone number, e-mail address, postal address).
